America Gets It Wrong... Again.
For those that think it's silly, I don't really care :P
My favorite (Gina) got booted from American Idol tonight. She is by far not the worst singer in the panel. She has a good voice, was fun, funny, and a good role model for young girls. Laugh all you want, but she is educated, strong, independent, and VERY sexy - all this and she is by no means a "skinny minnie" as my mother would say. She's the image of a healthy girl that I know a lot of guys would normally call "a bit thick". It didn't apply with her though because she looked great and obviously liked to eat like a normal human being. In this age of constant pressure on people (especially girls) to be as skinny as a twig, I think it's important for there to be other role models. She was a good one to choose.
As for the rest of my rant here, it's Sanjaya. For the love of fucking god people, it's a SINGING competition. He should have never made the top 12. He absolutely should not be here now. WTF?! Is it the "Vote for the Worst" site? Has it finally become popular enough to actually start affecting the vote? What does that say about us as a culture? That just because you don't like a show you try and destroy it by getting the worst person through as far as possible? What does that prove? I'll tell you what it proves - that you're a fucking cockbite, that's what. If you take time out of your day to vote for a person on a show that you don't like because you think it would be"funny", you are a cockbite. PS - Go fuck yourself.
The fact that he's still on the show is a disgrace in itself, but the fact that Gina went before him is simply bullshit.
