Next Year's E3, Here I Come!

That's right folks. Although it's too late this year (since it starts this morning), I'll be at E3 next year. Well why did you just book tickets earier this year you may ask? Because only media/staff members within the gaming community can go. Since I wasn't either of these, I had no chance.

That has changed though! The news is pretty exciting and I've been busting my ass for the last 2 weeks to get the site done in time for the E3 launch. I'm the new Portal Manager for Gods & Heroes over at the Stratics Gaming Network. To those of you not familiar with Stratics, it doesn't sound like a big deal. For those that are familiar with the gaming indsutry, this is a huge opportunity for me and I'm ecstatic over it.

Gods & Heroes is an upcoming MMORPG set in ancient Rome (circa 300BC) with the mythology being considered as fact, rather than fiction. You will be the scion of a chosen god and the game will have squad combat. It's pretty exciting stuff.

Here's a link for the site - warning though - Until I get the code corrected to deal with smaller display resolutions, it is best viewed at 1280x1024 or 1280x960. Take a look and let me know what you think.

I'm excited because it finally gives me a possible "in" to the gaming industry. I've been a gamer for longer than some of you have been alive, LOL. I've always kept up on the industry in general and love being involved now. I'm the exclusive contact point between the games development team and the Stratics Network. I love it. The guys over there are great as well and have been very friendly.

Soooo... you can bet your ass I'm spending my vacation next year in L.A at the E3 convention!
