EQ2 Server Maintenance and the Olympics

Odd title, but I think I'll cover part fo both, hehe.

So I'm half-way through level 49 in EQ2 - my necro is finally coming into her own. Woot! Of course, as I now begin to close in on the current level cap, the new expansion gets released sometime this week or next I think, and with it, the level cap will be bumped to 70. That's ok though - I'm kind of in a groove right now and things are flowing along at a good pace.

As a sign that I'm enjoying the game again, I don't have a single alt above level 11. That's pretty impressive for me, as I tend to always have a few mid level alts in games simply because I get bored. Have I mentioned that my necro rocks? LOL.

Here at work, we're watching the winter olympics. Currently, the Women's Curling match is on - USA vs Canada. We're getting our asses handed to us. It's kind of an odd sport, but interesting once you get into the rules a bit. Seems to be a bit like shuffle board, but oddly enough, I keep relating it to pool. Mainly carom shots in pool - getting your ball off of another. Kinda like that. Like said - a bit weird for a sport, but entertaining to watch.

I heard this morning that there was an accident during the men's luge. Let me tell you - it will be an unbelievably cold day in hell before you would ever put me in a spandex suit, strap what is essentially a pair of ice skates to my butt, and push me down a ice covered slide. That's simply insane. Cool as hell to watch though - damn psychos.

That's it for now. Time to get back to work and get ready to work on the house in the morning while the EQ2 servers are down for extended maintenance. Yee-haw.
